EPE (BS-10-E-B-360-A-7-G-6-C-P-240C) Standard Accumulator Safety Block
The EPE range of safety blocks BS is available in sizes NG10, NG20, NG25 and NG32. The safety blocks BS combine all the features to protect, isolate and discharge a hydraulic accumulator. The shut-off valve rotates of 90 degrees to instantly isolate the accumulator from the hydraulic system in emergency conditions or for maintenance. Once isolated, the accumulator can be discharged into a tank through a discharging valve with manual or electric controls. In version BS10 and BS20 when switching over the ball valve, the pump flow rate is stopped and simultaneously the accumulator discharged to the tank. During switching all three ports (P, A and T) are momentarily interconnected (negative switching overlap). Ball valves are not designed to be used as flow control valves; therefore they should always be either fully open or fully closed, to avoid damaging the sealing cups. The system security is ensured by a pressure PED an anti-tempering pressure valve certified CE/PED. The safety blocks BS allow easy and secure connection of an accumulator to a hydraulic system. Suitable for use with all types of bladder, piston and diaphragm accumulators, the compact and multi function design allows saving space and reducing the wiring.

EPE Standard Bladder Accumulator (AS-0.7-P-330-CG01)
Accumulator is a device used specifically for storage of liquid under pressure. As liquids,for all practical purposes, are incompressible, this objective is achieved by utilizing the compressibility of gases. A flexible rubber separator i.e.,bladder is fitted into the accumulator shell. An inert gas - nitrogen - is filled into the bladder through a pressure valve to a pressure P . The bladder expands, filling 0 the entire volume V of the accumulator shell. 0 When the system pressure P is higher than the gas 1 precharge pressure P , the liquid enters the accumulator and the bladder is compressed reducing the gas volume toV1. Should the liquid pressure rise to P , the volume of gas reduces to V with an attendant rise in pressure, thus balancing the Liquid pressure. HYDAC Standard Accumulator Charging Kit (FPU-1-250 F 2.5 G2 A3/H)
The HYDAC charging and testing unit FPU is used to charge accumulators with nitrogen or to check or to change the existing pre-charge pressure in accumulators. For this purpose the charging and testing unit is screwed onto the gas valve of the hydraulic accumulator and connected via a flexible charging hose to a commercial nitrogen bottle. If the nitrogen pressure is only to be checked or reduced, the charging hose does not need to be connected. The unit has a screw-type fitting with a built-in pressure gauge, check valve and a spindle for opening the accumulator gas valve to check the pressure.

The HYDAC safety and shut-off block is a hydraulics accessories element for protection from excess pressure on the fluid side and for the shut-off and relief of hydraulic accumulators. It takes into account the applicable safety regulations according to DIN EN ISO 4413 and the German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV). The HYDAC pressure relief valve (DB12) is used in the SAF series. It is a directacting pressure relief valve in poppet valve construction with excellent opening and closing characteristics. This version of the DB12 complies with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) with CE marking and is supplied with a declaration of conformity and operating instructions.
HYDAC Standard Bladder Accumulator (SB 330-10- A 1/112 U-330 A 050 )
A bladder accumulator consists of a fluid section and a gas section with the bladder acting as the gas-proof separation element. The fluid around the bladder is connected to the hydraulic circuit so that the bladder accumulator draws in fluid when the pressure increases and the gas is compressed. When the pressure drops, the compressed gas expands and forces the stored fluid into the circuit.
OLAER/PARKER Standard Accumulator Charging Kit (VGU 25/400 8 TS2 3)
Charging sets are used to inflate, check, top-up or vent the nitrogen gas precharge in all accumulators. They are to be screwed to the gas valve or bladder stem and connected to the gas regulator that fits the Nitrogen bottles. They are supplied in a plastic case. Universal charging set fits most of the hydraulic accumulators available on the market. Maximum working pressure: limited by the maximum operating pressure of the installed pressure limited to 400 bar in any case

Safety Blocks Are designed to incorporate in a single compact block a variety of functions necessary for the correct operation of a hydraulic system fitted with accumulators. This includes manual and/or electrical drain, isolation, flow control and pressure relief.
